Let My People Go! Jewish Americans & The Soviet Jewry Movement:

Lessons in Solidarity for Today’s Struggle Against Antisemitism

Thursday, May 27th at 12:00 PM EDT

In celebration of Jewish American Heritage Month, the Combat Antisemitism Movement, the National Museum of American Jewish History and the National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry are partnering for a special symposium reflecting upon the Free Soviet Jewry movement.

Blending grassroots activism and political advocacy, the movement culminated in millions of Jews behind the Iron Curtain being allowed to emigrate and practice their religion freely.

As the societal sickness of antisemitism is flaring up yet again, targeting not only Jewish communities abroad, but also Jewish Americans, the symposium will highlight the cross-communal partnerships forged between people of diverse backgrounds to achieve the movement’s goals.

#ProtectTheFacts Campaign Against Holocaust Distortion

Honoring the Past. Safeguarding the Future.

Less than eight decades after the Nazi genocide of the Jews, Holocaust distortion is on the rise. While the phenomenon can be harder to identify than blatant Holocaust denial, it is just as dangerous.

To raise awareness of this pernicious trend, the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), United Nations, and UNESCO have launched a year-long #ProtectTheFacts digital campaign to help people better recognize Holocaust distortion.
