Dear Friends,

CAM’s weekly global anti-Semitism report covers 39 new anti-Semitic incidents (46% far-right, 23% far-left, 21% Islamist, and 10% unidentifiable).

A Singaporean soldier was arrested for a plot to stab Jewish men outside of a synagogue on behalf of Hamas. Social media star “Dulla Mulla” harassed shoppers at a kosher grocery store in Michigan for a clip shared with his 300,000 followers. And the UCLA student government passed a resolution slandering Israel for “ethnic cleansing.”

In a high-profile case, Miami Heat player Meyers Leonard used an anti-Semitic slur on a live broadcast. After Leonard subsequently apologized, NFL star Julian Edelman invited him to Shabbat dinner and used the incident as a teaching moment.

Leaders taking a stand make a critical difference in the struggle to end anti-Semitism. In that spirit, we invite you to join CAM’s historic Mayors Summit Against Anti-Semitism next Tuesday, March 16. See below for details on the summit’s unique program, which aims to help mayors worldwide unite to stamp out anti-Semitism on the local level.
