A kosher grocery store in one of the most prominent Jewish neighborhoods of Massachusetts was targeted early Sunday morning, when vandals hurled a brick scrawled with the words “Free Palestine” through its front window. The Butcherie, a cornerstone of Brookline’s Jewish community in the Coolidge Corner district, sustained property damage but no injuries were reported.
In a controversial move at this year’s Paris Air Show, French authorities ordered black partition walls around Israeli defense industry booths, isolating them from other international exhibitors. The partitions were installed ahead of the event’s Monday opening, in response to Israeli companies displaying what French authorities called “offensive weapons” amid the ongoing war in Gaza.
