Dear Friends,

Jewish communities worldwide continue to face alarming threats, with 153 antisemitic incidents monitored by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) just last month.

Each and every day, CAM and our partners are engaged in meaningful actions to fight antisemitism to build a better future for the Jewish people and all humanity.

As a member of the CAM coalition, you can aid the collective effort against Jew-hatred by participating in one of the activities detailed below and enlisting family and friends to join.

Together, we can make a difference, and confront the world’s oldest hatred with effective action.

ACTION 3:

AN INTERFAITH DISCUSSION BETWEEN GREEK ORTHODOX AND JEWISH CLERGY

Shadow

For both Christianity and Judaism, the holidays of Easter and Passover are foundational observances. Each year, Christians and Jews are called to remember, reenact and implement the lessons from these holidays into their daily lives.

On Tuesday, May 10th at 12 PM ET, CAM and the Interorthodox Centre of the Church of Greece will host a unique conversation between Greek Orthodox and American Jewish clergy to discuss the common theological aspects of Easter and Passover, and the upcoming holidays of Pentecost and Shavuot.

ACTION 4:

CONTRIBUTE TO THE “RIGHTEOUS AMONG THE NATIONS” GLOBAL MURAL PROJECT

Shadow

CAM and Artists 4 Israel (A4I) have joined forces to honor the “Righteous Among the Nations,” who saved Jews during the Holocaust, with powerful street murals in prominent locations around the world.

These bold and highly-visible displays educate large audiences about the Holocaust, raise awareness about the perils of antisemitism, and highlight the need to fight contemporary bigotry with social solidarity. The first two murals have been completed in Portugal and Greece.

The next mural, which is to be painted in the United States in honor of an American “Righteous Among the Nations,” requires $30,000 in contributions by July 1st.
