Recently, Jewish communities around the world have experienced a barrage of antisemitic acts, unprecedented in recent memory. Many Jewish people, especially in the younger generations, are witnessing antisemitism for the first time in their lives.

Every individual can be a change-maker. Together we can unite in action against all forms of contemporary antisemitism whenever, and wherever Jew-hatred occurs.

Join us in a summer of solidarity by exploring 6 tangible ways you can act against antisemitism today. Help us by joining in and sharing these important initiatives.

ACTION 1:

JOIN THE RALLY IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE JEWISH PEOPLE IN WASHINGTON, DC

Antisemitism isn’t taking a summer vacation. So neither can we.

On July 11 in Washington, D.C, CAM is partnering with a diverse group of organizations for “NO FEAR: A Rally in Solidarity with the Jewish People.” Now is the time for the Jewish people and our allies to speak out against antisemitism in the United States.

If you believe Jews have a right to exist in peace and security as a people both in the United States and in Israel, then you belong with us.

ACTION 2:

DEMAND CATALAN CHANNEL TV3 PUNISH COMMENTATOR FOR ANTISEMITISM AT OLYMPIC SWIMMING QUALIFYING EVENT

Catalan public broadcasting channel TV3 must take disciplinary action against its commentator, Clara Basiana, for antisemitic remarks she made during coverage of a recent Olympics qualifying swimming event in Barcelona.

On June 10th, as two Israeli artistic duet swimmers stood awaiting the judges results after their performance, Basiana said on live TV: “Israel’s international presence in the field of sport…is another strategy for the laundering of genocide…that they are committing against the Palestinian people.”

ACTION 3:

FREE YEMENITE JEW LEVI MARHABI AND STOP HOUTHI ANTISEMITISM

This year, Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen expelled almost all of country’s remaining Jews, bringing an end to 2,000 years of Yemenite Jewish life. The Houthis continue to imprison and torture Levi Salem Musa Marhabi, a Yemenite Jew who was arrested for the supposed “crime” of helping a Jewish family flee abroad with a Torah scroll.

The plight of Yemen’s Jews is overlooked and ignored by the international community. Don’t let another group of Jews become forgotten refugees!

ACTION 4:

CALL ON YOUR MAYOR TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST ANTISEMITISM IN YOUR CITY

Call on your mayor to join the leaders of Athens, Pittsburgh, Paris, Frankfurt, Porto, Budapest, Montreal, and other cities and towns around the world in standing up to the alarming surge in antisemitic incidents that continue to target Jews worldwide.

As incidents of Jew-hatred continue to manifest in local communities, municipal leaders must clearly stand against this hatred.

ACTION 5:

REGISTER FOR THE FIRST-EVER CENTRAL AMERICA FORUM FOR ISRAEL

With Israel under attack and antisemitic hatred flourishing worldwide, friends of the Jewish people and the Jewish State are standing up in a display of resolute solidarity. CAM and the Center for Jewish Impact, in partnership with the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala and the Israel-Guatemala Friendship League will host the first-ever Central America Forum for Israel, celebrating Israel’s deep and longstanding ties in the region.

ACTION 6:

HELP GROW CAM’S IMPACT BY SUPPORTING OUR VITAL WORK
