The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) hosted on Monday the “Voices Against Violence: The Iranian Diaspora Speaks” digital rally, drawing global attention to the Tehran regime’s tyrannical rule at home and its malign regional influence across the Middle East.
The event was moderated by CAM Public Affairs Officer and Nova music festival massacre survivor Natalie Sanandaji, and it featured remarks from a diverse lineup of advocates for the freedom of the oppressed Iranian people.

Speakers lineup and selected quotes:
British-Iranian human rights activist Lily Moo — “Their hate is so much weaker than our love. When I see my Jewish friends across the globe uniting to fight the very enemy that I’m fighting and backing me up, the only thing I can do is fight shoulder-to-shoulder next to you.”
American-Israeli journalist Emily Schrader — “We are not enemies. We are allies in a fight against a shared enemy.”
“The people of Iran have shown the rest of the world what it looks like when you stand up to a dictatorship, at all cost, at any cost, in some cases.”
Founder of “Persian Girl Podcast” Millie Efraim — “I never thought that my Persian or Jewish identity should be separate. For me, it was something that was always embedded in my Persian identity.”
Empower Women Media Executive Director Shirin Taber — “What inspires me to keep going in this movement is that I really believe that change is coming. I’ve seen it. I’ve been watching it for the last 40 years.”
National Union for Democracy in Iran (NUFDI) Visiting Fellow Sarah Raviani — “By October 1oth, the Iranian people globally stood up with the people of Israel against Hamas. It was beautiful to see because the Jewish communities were basically our only allies who had stood with us as we were demanding freedom.”
Political activist Farnam Nekouei — “We need a stronger alliance than ever to wake up the EU, United States, UK, Canada, and all the democratic countries from the slumber they’re in about the serious dangers of the mullah regime’s export of radical Islam to the world.”
Human rights activist and founder of Alliance for Rights of All Minorities (ARAM) Marjan Keypour Greenblatt — “We cannot forget. We cannot forgive. We cannot dismiss it. There is no cultural and no political explanation that can justify the atrocities taking place against Iranian women and those that happened on October 7th against Israeli women.”
Vice President of Jewish Engagement at American Jewish University Rabbi Tarlan Rabizadeh — “If we continue to watch the news like it’s just a movie and has nothing to do with us, we’re not going to be able to change it.”
Iranian-American Writer and Director Julia Elihu — “For me as a filmmaker, it’s about humanizing the Iranian people. So many people didn’t understand that there was a difference between Iranian citizens and the government. Sadly, I see that similarly happening in Israel.”
Journalist and Foreign Affairs and Counter-Terrorism Expert Lisa Daftari — “My advice to people in this field and to understand the truth is to really just push the most simple narrative: you are either pro-terrorism or anti-terrorism.”
Attorney Ramin Rabieian — “If we want to combat antisemitism, I think Persians are our best allies. And lasting peace in the region is through a free Iran.”
Doctor in Sweden Ms. X — “What saddens me the most is when I see Persian people who were posting against the Iranian regime now posting for Hamas and the Palestinians, not understanding that these two are connected. If you are against the regime, you have to be against Hamas.”
Los Angeles Mom Magazine CEO and Creator of Shirin Yadegar — “I have made my work as a journalist dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who are fighting for Women, Life, Freedom. For those who believe in freedom for all people.”
Writer, Director, Producer, and Women’s Rights Activist Azadeh Nikzadeh — “As a filmmaker in a free world, I have access to freedom and have access to resources. I know that I have a voice, and I have a power to bring attention to the dire human rights situation in Iran.”
“This event unites Iranians – Jews, Muslims, and Christians – in a collective call for a free Iran liberated from tyranny.”
