Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) CEO Sacha Roytman released a pair of AI-generated music videos directly replying to notorious antisemitic French rapper Médine, who last week put out a new track — titled “Child of Destiny” — demonizing Jews and glorifying terrorism.
“Thanks for your rotten rap… you wanted to do politics in song? Then sit down, here’s my response,” the opening line of Roytman’s first video went.
“October 7, no forgetting,” it continued. “No excuse for barbarity. You can change the words, mask the violence — a massacre is never a resistance.”

Sarah Halimi. Mireille Knoll. Toulouse. La rue des Rosiers. L’Hyper Cacher… Tu te souviens, Médine ? https://t.co/qtKCM7hFzB

In the track in question, Médine refers to Jews as “unwanted squatters” who have “hands full of blood.”
It concludes with a sympathetic portrayal of a bus bombing from the perspective of the suicide attacker.
Beyond Roytman’s powerful artistic response, CAM Executive Director of European Affairs Shannon Seban also submitted a formal request to the French Public Prosecutor calling for an investigation of Médine.
Cher @Medinrecords, quand il ne vous reste plus que la haine pour exister, il est peut-être temps de penser à changer de métier, non ?
J’ai bien évidemment saisi, dès hier matin, le procureur de la République. https://t.co/MZjI3wv5xZ

Roytman said, “Médine wanted to lecture. We answered with the truth. You don’t get to wash a massacre clean with a punchline. October 7 was barbarity — and no amount of wordplay changes that.”
“Artists have influence,” he added. “That influence comes with responsibility. When music is used to spread hate, we can use it to fight back.”
This past summer, ahead of Médine’s performance at a “Justice for Palestine” concert and rally in Strasbourg, CAM launched an international petition campaign raising alarm about his long record of antisemitic rhetoric and calling out the European Parliament for platforming him.
Following the ensuing controversy, the European Parliament announced it would no longer allow external organizations to use its logo in connection with their activities.
