At National Religious Broadcasters Convention, Christians Show Fervent Support for Israel and Fight Against Antisemitism

Last month’s National Religious Broadcasters Convention (NRB 2021) brought together more than 3,300 Christian communicators at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, in Grapevine, Texas. The event saw a host of speakers focused on topics including religious liberty, the changing cultural and media landscape, and best communications practices.

The convention featured a special session with former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who was interviewed by Joel C. Rosenberg, best-selling author and editor-in-chief of All Israel News. The discussion centered on Israel, the Abraham Accords, and current events in the Middle East.

The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) was proud to co-sponsor the “Breakfast to Honor Israel,” which drew more than 300 attendees. The theme of the breakfast was supporting Israel through deeds as well as prayer.

In his remarks at the breakfast, EJ Kimball, CAM’s Director of Christian Engagement, talked about the theological origins of antisemitism and how the Evangelical Christian community should approach the fight against this age-old societal scourge.

CAM has been represented the past two years at the NRB and is building a broad base of Evangelical Christian support for global efforts to combat antisemitism.

Also at the breakfast, Susan Michael, Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) USA, highlighted the unique role the ICEJ plays in Israel, helping people in need across the country, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
