Calling Jew-Hatred ‘Brain Rot,’ Erika Kirk Vows to Take On Antisemitism On the Right

Erika Kirk, CEO of Turning Point USA and widow of assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk, pledged to confront antisemitism on the political right in remarks broadcast this weekend.

She specifically addressed Holocaust denial during a prime-time CBS News town hall moderated by editor-in-chief Bari Weiss.

The event was recorded Wednesday in New York City and aired Saturday night.

The conversation took a sharp turn after question from Bob Milgrim.

Earlier this year, Milgrim lost his daughter, Sarah Lynn Milgrim, alongside her partner, Yaron Lischinsky. The couple — both staff members at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C. — were shot dead as they left an American Jewish Committee (AJC) event at the Capital Jewish Museum in May.

During the town hall, Milgrim directly asked whether Kirk would confront antisemitism on the right. In particular, he referenced Holocaust denial.

‘Jew Hate Is Brain Rot’

In response, Kirk became visibly emotional. “You and I are a part of a very small club,” she said, referring to their shared loss due to antisemitic violence. She then echoed a phrase her late husband often used. “Jew hate is brain rot,” Kirk said.

From there, Kirk framed antisemitism as a moral failure. “Hate is hate. It’s evil,” she added. At the same time, she urged dialogue across political and cultural divides.

Rejecting Conspiracy Theories and Online Incitement

The town hall also addressed conspiracy theories that spread online after Charlie Kirk’s murder. In that context, Weiss cited false claims that distorted the case. Some posts alleged that Kirk was a “Mossad agent.” Others blamed Israel for the killing.

Kirk rejected those narratives outright. Instead, she described the urge to invent secret plots as a byproduct of social media culture. According to her, the facts were clear and undisputed.

When pressed further, Weiss raised the role of far-right influencer Candace Owens, who has promoted conspiracy theories related to the killing. Kirk immediately cut the exchange short. “Stop,” she said. “That’s it. That’s all I have to say. Stop.”.
