CAM Supports United Hatzalah COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund For #GivingTuesdayNow

To support COVID-19 relief efforts during this difficult time, the Combat Anti-Semitism Movement (CAM) teamed up with our partner organization, United Hatzalah of Israel, to raise money for lifesaving personal protective equipment and medical supplies for front-line healthcare workers.

For each signature received, CAM committed to donating $1 to the United Hatzalah Emergency COVID-19 Response Fund. In honor of #GivingTuesdayNow, we are excited to report that we received 5,362 signatures and are proud to announce that we raised a total of $5,362 for this life-saving cause.

Thanks to grassroots supporters around the world, this donation will help fund:

  • Coronavirus Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Kits that include a protective apron, face shield, mask, and gloves.
  • Increased staffing for crisis response.
  • Oxygen tanks and other critical equipment.
  • General medical supplies for individuals who need it most.

United Hatzalah serves all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin through its diverse volunteer team comprised of Jews, Arabs, Druze, Bedouins, and Christians. This community of 6,000 highly trained medics is playing a key role in the COVID-19 response across Israel, at no charge.

We are so grateful for the support we received for this life saving initiative during these challenging times. Together we can make a difference. We look forward to working with all of our partners to combat anti-Semitism across the world in the days ahead.
