CAM Visits North Carolina to Build Christian Support for Fight Against Antisemitism

Earlier this month, Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) Director of Christian Outreach and Engagement EJ Kimball traveled to Greensboro, North Carolina, to represent CAM at several events.

First, Kimball spoke at a parlor meeting with senior Christian and Jewish community leaders — including representatives of area churches and synagogues, as well as the Greensboro Jewish Federation.

The discussion covered a range of topics related to the rise of antisemitism across the U.S. and around the world, with a specific focus on what is taking place on college campuses and how local communities can take action to mitigate the threat posed by Jew-hatred.

The following day, Kimball was a featured guest on “Truth for a New Generation,” a TV program aimed at evangelical Christians.

His interview with host Alex McFarland centered on the need for Christians to be aware of antisemitism and how Christians can become educated on the issue and work together with the Jewish people to fight this age-old global scourge.

After the interview, Kimball met with McFarland to talk about having his ministry partner with CAM and ways to engage the Christian community through social media and traditional TV and radio opportunities.

The fight against contemporary antisemitism requires a broad coalition, and the Christian community in the U.S. has a key role to play in this vital collective effort.
