The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) announced today the addition of French investigative journalist and author Nora Bussigny to its Advisory Board for Europe.

The daughter of a Moroccan mother and French father, Bussigny is a Sorbonne graduate who has become known over the past decade for her immersive work exposing the rise of antisemitism in France and the intersectionality of radical left, Islamist, and anti-Israel extremism.

Bussigny is published widely in the French media, by outlets such as Le Point, Marianne, and Franc-Tireur, and has been featured in English by The Free Press. She has also authored four books, including The New Antisemites: An Undercover Investigation in the Ranks of the Far Left, which became a bestseller and earned her the prestigious Prix Edgar-Faure for Political Book of the Year in 2025.

“At a time when antisemitism is rising across the world, I am proud and honored to join the European Advisory Board of the Combat Antisemitism Movement,” Bussigny said. “Through its patient, meticulous, and courageous work, CAM shines a light on alarming realities, helps us identify solutions together, and gives a voice, without hesitation, to those who can no longer stand by and look the other way.”

CAM CEO Sacha Roytman welcomed Bussigny, stating, “Nora Bussigny offers the kind of courageous and principled voice that is essential in today’s fight against antisemitism. She has shown a remarkable commitment to pursuing truth, even when it requires confronting uncomfortable realities. With antisemitism becoming increasingly intertwined with misinformation, extremism, and social polarization, her vast knowledge, experience, and integrity will be an invaluable asset for CAM’s European mission.”

CAM Executive Director of European Affairs Shannon Seban said, “In Europe, we are witnessing an alarming resurgence of antisemitism that demands clear judgment and intellectual honesty. Nora Bussigny has built her reputation on asking difficult questions and refusing to accept simplistic answers. Her voice brings credibility, insight, and a deep understanding of the social dynamics that fuel hatred and division. We are delighted and proud to work alongside her as we strengthen our efforts across the European continent.”

Bussigny is the second announced member of CAM’s newly-founded Advisory Board for Europe, following former French Prime Minister Manuel Valls.

The establishment of the board comes at a critical moment in history, with European social cohesion and democratic resilience under increasing strain. A total of 2,962 antisemitic incidents were monitored in Europe by CAM’s Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) in 2025, nearly a 50% rise from the previous year, and 2026 has only seen the threat matrix facing European Jewry grow even more perilous.

The board offers a high-level platform for influential European leaders to turn words into action and coordinate a stronger and more effective collective response to the proliferation of antisemitism through strategic guidance, policy advocacy, and public engagement.

CAM has been active in Europe for more than five years now, building a coalition of top decision and policy makers, community representatives, and civil society officials from a broad range of religious, political, and cultural backgrounds to combat antisemitism together.

Last November, municipal leaders from more than 130 European cities convened in Paris, France, for the 2025 European Mayors Summit Against Antisemitism, organized by CAM.

Similar CAM-led forums were hosted in recent years by Dortmund (Germany), Athens (Greece), and Frankfurt (Germany).

CAM has also partnered with the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ) on the “Cities Embracing Jewish Heritage” project.
