Demonstrators outside Israel’s embassy in Washington, D.C., on Monday drenched the pavement in fake blood and set up mock graves draped in Palestinian flags, invoking classical “blood libel” tropes long used to demonize Jews and incite antisemitic violence.
Signs held by protesters read “Israelis are baby killers,” “No place for Israel in a good world,” “Expose Israel’s control of Washington,” “Gaza has become a graveyard for children,” and “Israel out of U.S.!”

Speaking with Israel’s Channel 12 news station, Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) CEO Sacha Roytman denounced the displays as an “absolute disgrace.”
The demonstration was the latest in a series of similar antisemitic spectacles organized in the American capital in recent years following the October 7th massacre and the subsequent war in Gaza.
In a February 2025 podcast interview with TMJ News Network journalist Sarah Katib, anti-Israel activists Hazami Barmada, Atefeh Rokhvand, and Sumer Mobarak discussed their roles in these type of actions in across Washington, D.C.
Last November, the activists staged a mock “Friendsgiving” dinner in front of Union Station, depicting U.S. and Israeli leaders eating bloodied human limbs.

Another protest in March, held in Lafayette Square facing the White House, featured figures dressed as U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein consuming children’s organs.
