An interfaith group of women from across the globe gathered in the United Arab Emirates last Friday for the “Dubai Forum,” hosted by Empower Women Media and co-sponsored by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM).
The program featured a series of speeches, panels, and discussions focused on fostering ties of solidarity and allyship among the Abrahamic religions and giving women a voice at the peacemaking table.

CAM was represented at the forum by Director of Community Engagement Shira Granot and Public Affairs Officer and Nova music festival massacre survivor Natalie Sanandaji, who shared her story.
The CAM delegation also included Israeli businesswomen Adi Migdal and Natalie Spero, who participated in a panel titled “Why Is Inter-Religious Harmony Good for Business and Innovation?”

Sanandaji tweeted after the forum, “On October 6, 2023, if you’d told me what the next year would bring, I wouldn’t have believed you. That day, I was filled with excitement, preparing for the Nova Music Festival — a celebration of life and freedom. By October 7, it had turned into the Nova Massacre. I survived, but my life changed forever. From that moment, I vowed to dedicate myself to fighting for humanity, exposing the truth, and building bridges with people of all faiths.”
She continued, “This week, I had the honor of leading @combatasemitism delegation to Dubai for a multifaith women’s empowerment gathering. I shared my survival story and how I’ve since committed to combating antisemitism. Standing before incredible women from Muslim countries, I reflected on my mission to confront extremism and end hatred. I’ve seen extremism up close. I’ve lost friends to it. That’s why I won’t stop until we break the cycle of hatred.”
Sanandaji concluded, “We, the women of the world, have a responsibility: we cannot let hatred grow in our societies. After witnessing Hamas’s evil, I chose to fight back. Will you join me?”
