In recent months, Europe has witnessed a disturbing rise in antisemitic incidents, including last week’s pogrom in Amsterdam, highlighting the urgent need for coordinated responses and proactive strategies.
The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) brought together on Thursday a panel of experts to address the current wave of violence and hate targeting Jewish communities across the continent, with a specific focus on the role of social media and anti-Zionism as catalysts.

Speakers included: Hans Wallage, antisemitism researcher at the Dutch Center for Information and Documentation Israel (CIDI); Dr. Gil Yaron, head of the Office of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia for Economy, Science, Education, Youth and Culture in Israel; and Dr. Matthias J. Becker, postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Research on Antisemitism (ZfA) at the Technical University in Berlin.
