Authorities in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam are investigating an explosion that struck a Jewish school early Saturday, causing limited damage to the building but no injuries.
Authorities have not identified who was responsible, but the terrorist organization Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia — which translates to “The Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right” — appears to have claimed responsibility.

The new group, believed to be linkedto the Tehran regime, is also suspected of involvement in similar attacks at synagogues in Liège and Rotterdam in recent days.
Amsterdam Mayor Femke Halsema condemned the attack, calling it “a cowardly act of aggression against the Jewish community.” She warned that antisemitism has become an increasing concern in her city, adding, “Jewish people in Amsterdam are increasingly confronted with antisemitism. This is unacceptable.”
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten also denounced the attack, describing it as “horrible.” In a statement posted on X, he said the incident had understandably caused “fear and anger” within the Jewish community and emphasizes that the safety of Jewish institutions “has our full attention.”
