The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) issued the following statement on Sunday after the sudden passing of Stanley Roth AM, a member of CAM’s Advisory Board and longtime Australian Jewish community leader:
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Stanley Roth AM, a valued member of the Combat Antisemitism Movement Advisory Board and a respected leader within the Australian Jewish community.”
“Born in Sydney in 1953 to Jewish refugees who fled Europe before the Second World War, Stanley dedicated his life to strengthening Jewish life in Australia and supporting the State of Israel. A passionate advocate for Keren Hayesod and Jewish causes, his leadership, generosity, and commitment helped shape and sustain countless initiatives over decades of service.”
“Stanley believed deeply that standing up against antisemitism matters. His wisdom, integrity, and quiet determination will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to work alongside him.”
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Charmaine, his children, grandchildren, and the entire Roth family.”
