An Instagram account featuring content glorifying terrorism and potentially inciting antisemitic violence was removed by Meta this week after it was flagged by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM).
The “Rednecks Support Palestine” account was operated by Patrick Rozas using the moniker “Abdullah Mohammed.”
CAM alerted Meta, as well as Zelle and GoFundMe (which Rozas used to solicit donations), following a post last Friday in which Rozas appeared wearing a Hamas headband while brandishing a pistol.
CAM also notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the post.
Meta confirmed on Wednesday that the account had been deactivated due to violations of platform policies.
CAM thanks Meta for its swift handling of the case and looks forward to continued cooperation in the future.
The GoFundMe page linked to Rozas also appeared to be down, as of Wednesday.

In addition to the pistol post, other problematic content published in the past by the “Rednecks Support Palestine” accunt — which had more than 157,000 followers — included:
— a Hamas inverted red triangle an Hamas plaque on Rozas’s vehicle
— “Zionism is not Judaism” messaging
— Direct threats issued to “Zionists,” with “I will f**k you up” and “I will put you in a grave,” among them
— a performance of the “Throw the Jew Down the Well” song
— calls for the destruction of Israel, and the statement “Once you get rid of Zionism, you get peace in the world.”
Rozas, who presents his activities as community funded, travels across the United States in a pickup truck adorned with Palestinian flags and other symbols with the self-stated mission of “teaching people about oppression” — a clear euphemism for preaching hatred of the State of Israel and Zionism to anyone who will listen.
Hamas has been a U.S. State Department-designated terrorist organization since 1997, and is responsible for the murder of thousands of civilians, including American citizens, in recent decades, with the October 7th massacre in 2023 the most notorious of its barbaric crimes.
