Since the end of June, the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), in partnership with the Galila Foundation, has raised $151,552 to equip 14 northern Israeli communities with advanced anti-fire kits, giving critical assistance to local first responders in combating the devastating fires ignited by relentless Hezbollah rockets and drone attacks.
Just this morning, a major fire in the moshav of Sha’al was contained with the help of kits we provided.
Since receiving the new equipment, first responder crews have successfully extinguished more than 30 fires in the Golan Heights before they could grow into massive blazes.
A regional command center, which guides the firefighting teams, now coordinates around 330 individuals equipped with life-saving gear. In recent fires, team members arrived within minutes, often leading to messages indicating no further assistance was needed as the situation was already under control.
As the threat of an all-out assault by Iran and its terrorist proxies, including Hezbollah, looms, logistical readiness on the Israeli homefront is more vital than ever.
While this work is not part of our day-to-day operations at CAM fighting antisemitism around the world, when called upon, we rise to the challenge to provide vital support. All contributions to this effort make a true impact in protecting northern Israeli communities and are deeply appreciated.
