Since the Islamic Revolution of 1979, the people of Iran have endured unimaginable oppression, with women suffering the most.
At an online forum hosted by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) on Tuesday, leading Iranian female activists shared their experiences of persecution and abuse, to draw global attention to the plight of their fellow countrywomen.

The purpose of this event was to expose the Tehran regime’s horrific human rights violations, amplify the voices of Iranian women across the globe, and mobilize the international community to stand with the Iranian people against their dictatorial leadership.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has “revealed its cowardice through attacks on women,” said CAM Public Affairs Officer Natalie Sanandaji, the moderator of the forum. “And we’ve recently seen similar violence from its proxies, like Hamas, against woman in Israel. Now, more than ever, it’s vital to unite against these terrorist organizations. And we must remember that we share the same enemy and the same goal — justice for the women of Iran and the victims of sexual violence perpetrated by the Islamic regime and all its proxies.”
The speakers lineup at Tuesday’s event included: Jacqueline Saper, Elaaheh Jamali, Farnam Nekouei, Arash Hamedian, Sarah Raviani, and Marziyeh Amirizadeh.
CAM is engaged in ongoing efforts, led by Sanandaji, to educate people across the globe about the evils of the Iranian regime, which is the largest purveyor of antisemitism today and actively seeks, through its own actions and its support for regional terror proxies, to destroy the world’s only Jewish state.
Particularly following October 7th, the genocidal threat posed by the Iranian regime to its own citizens, the Jewish people, and humanity as a whole can no longer be ignored.
