Dutch police arrested three suspects on Tuesday morning after red paint was thrown at the Israeli Embassy in The Hague and the building’s front door was smashed.
Photos released by Israel’s Foreign Ministry showed the entrance splattered in paint and the door visibly fractured. Local authorities responded on scene and took the suspects into custody, the ministry said.
The Foreign Ministry confirmed that no embassy staff were injured in the incident.
Israeli Ambassador to the Netherlands Modi Ephraim condemned the attack, calling it a “cowardly act” and “yet another illustration of the dangerous consequences of rising hatred and incitement.”

The attack follows a wave of recent incidents worldwide, including last week’s defacement of El Al’s Paris office with red paint and the words “El Al genocide airline.”
