A 43-year-old woman was attacked with a broken bottle in central Berlin early Friday after two men confronted her for wearing a Star of David and subjected her to antisemitic insults, police said.
Police said the confrontation occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Torstrasse in the German capital’s Mitte district.
While defending herself, the woman sustained multiple cuts to her hand. She was then taken to a hospital, but authorities have released no further information about her condition.
According to Bild, the men escaped and neither appeared to have been identified as of Saturday.
