September 16 is the anniversary of the killing of Mahsa Amini, the young woman who was beaten to death in Tehran by the Iranian regime’s morality police in 2022.

This incident sparked massive ongoing protests and civil resistance against the Iranian government over the past 11 months. Sadly, however, the regime’s human rights violations are only increasing.

This September 16, demonstrations against the regime are planned across the world. In Israel though, it will be Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Instead of a rally, Israelis and Israeli organizations are being encouraged to show support for the Iranian people on social media with the hashtag #IsraelisLoveIranians.
