The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) hosted on Tuesday its third monthly Global Partners Roundtable Coalition call.
The theme of the latest call was a celebration of International Women’s Day, and speakers included:
Betty Ehrenberg — Executive Director, World Jewish Congress North America
Liora Rez — Executive Director, StopAntisemitism
Larysa Michalska — Project Manager, Humanity in Action
Yael Steiner — Cultural Entrepreneur and Filmmaker
Sharon Landau — Managing Director, The Braid
Elizabeth Cullen — Government Relations Manager, Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America
CAM Director of North American Partnerships Rebecca Rose gave opening remarks and moderated the discussion, and CAM Public Affairs Officer and Nova music festival massacre survivor Natalie Sanandaji also spoke.
One focal point was the ongoing crisis facing Israelis women hostages held by Hamas since October 7th. In her remarks, Cullen highlighted Hadassah’s #EndtheSilence campaign, which urges the United Nations to “conduct an independent, unbiased investigation into the reports and documented evidence of Hamas’ rape, mutilation, gender-based violence and murder of Israeli women and girls and prosecute these war crimes to the fullest extent.”
Hadassah’s #EndtheSilence petition to UN Secretary-General António Guterres can be read and signed HERE.
The monthly roundtables convene the entire CAM coalition, a dynamic and diverse group encompassing a broad spectrum of ideologies and approaches, all united in the goal of combating antisemitism.
The virtual gatherings held on Zoom serve as a platform for engaged discourse on the work of CAM’s partners and an incubator for innovative ideas and impactful strategies.
All CAM partners are welcome to join the monthly calls.
