The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) honored the latest cohort of Innovation Lab winners at a virtual closing ceremony on Tuesday.

The purpose of the Innovation Lab is to foster game-changing initiatives and fresh solutions that effectively address the challenge of surging antisemitism globally.
CAM Advisory Board Chair Natan Sharansky opened the ceremony by welcoming the winners. “Antisemitism is on the rise — on the left, on the right, in the academy, and in different religious communities, and it’s not something new,” he said. “But the fact that it’s rising simultaneously on different fronts means that we also have to deal with it simultaneously.”
“I congratulate you on being winners, but it’s not enough,” Sharansky added. “Please make sure that you, and all your family and friends, are active participants in combating antisemitism.”
Also addressing the winners was CAM Advisory Board member Uwe Becker, the former mayor of the German city of Frankfurt am Main. “We need to stand together as one society — of different religions, nationalities, cultures, and traditions,” he declared. “When we do that, our work against antisemitism can be more successful.”
CAM CEO Sacha Roytman Dratwa, who moderated the hour-long ceremony, said, “Hopefully you will inspire others to do the same as you, to take a stand, and in addition to their professional careers, to work to see what they can do to contribute to fighting antisemitism.”
The details of the winning proposals follow ā
Heath Sloane: āCombating Chinese Antisemitism Through Multimediaā —Ā The project aims to create a permanent digital resource that raises awareness of antisemitism and equips advocates with resources to fight antisemitism within Chinese-speaking communities.
ZoĆ© Tara Zeigherman: āZionism & Anti-Zionism: The History of Two Opposing Ideasā — The project aims to produce a stylish YouTube video series featuring Dr. Einat Wilf that makes Zionism trendy and fills the gap in knowledge of Jewish history on college campuses.
Robert Tepper: āThe Jewish Question: A One-Man Play in a Paris Hotel Room With Theodor Herzlā — The project aims to devise a one-man stage play illuminating Zionist visionary Theodor Herzlās ten-day stay at the HĆ“tel de Castille in Paris, France, in 1895, during which he wrote his famous pamphlet The Jewish State.
Lievnath Faber: āThe Jewish Manifestoā — The project aims to formulate, in a collaborative manner among more than 300 Dutch Jews, an interactive and multidimensional on/offline manifesto that is a declaration of the dreams, desires, fears, and demands of the Jewish community in the Netherlands.
CAM will follow up with the winners in six months to get progress reports on their work.
Last week, CAM launched the next round of the Innovation Lab, with a focus on interfaith collaboration in the collective effort against the world’s oldest hatred.
