As Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM) draws to a close, the Omni-American Future Project — in partnership with the Combat Antisemitism Movement, American Sephardi Federation, and Jazz Leadership Project — presented on Tuesday a groundbreaking online webinar highlighting “Jewish American Contributions to the Jazz Tradition.”
The 50-minute digital broadcast was narrated by Omni-American Future Project Co-Directors Greg Thomas and Aryeh Tepper, and it offered unique perspectives both on America’s home-grown form of fine art — jazz — and U.S. Jewish history.

The Omni-American Future Project is a collaboration of the Combat Antisemitism Movement, American Sephardi Federation, and Jazz Leadership Project. Greg Thomas of JLP and Aryeh Tepper of ASF serve as co-directors of the initiative, which emphasizes character and culture, not color. The project’s variation on the nation’s motto — “E pluribus unum”– is: “Out of many, one pursuit of civic and cultural excellence.”
