Remembering Together - Israel’s 77th Memorial Day

As Israel’s 77th National Remembrance Day for Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism (Yom HaZikaron) approaches, the Jewish people stand at a pivotal moment in history.

The horrific events of October 7th and their aftermath underscored once again the shared destiny of the State of Israel and Diaspora Jewry, with Israel’s fight for security inextricably linked with the collective effort against rising antisemitism globally.

As our enemies seek to divide us, our greatest strength lies in our solidarity and mutual support, and the solemn occasion of Yom HaZikaron marks an opportunity to demonstrate Jewish unity transcending borders and distance.

“Remembering Together” is a collaborative project of the World Zionist Organization, Ruderman Family Foundation, Israeli Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, Israeli Ministry of Defense and Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The intiative’s website offers valuable educational materials and graphics for Yom HaZikron ceremonies and commemorations.

Jewish schools, synagogues, and community centers are invited to utilize these resources to hold moving and meaningful events remembering the fallen and instilling Jewish pride and love for Israel.
