Jewish Mother and Child Verbally Assaulted on London Bus

According to the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism in the United Kingdom, A Jewish mother and her child were verbally assaulted with anti-Semitic language while riding a bus in London.

The incident took place on London’s 67 Bus route in the neighborhood of Stamford Hill. A 60-year-old man approached the mother and her child and shouted at them, “shame Nazis didn’t put the gas higher” and “the Germans should have killed all of them.”

The incident left the victim feeling traumatized. Stamford Hill Shomrim, the Jewish volunteer neighbourhood watch patrol, reported the abuse.

Dog feces and eggs were thrown at a Jewish family’s home in Stamford Hill in what the victims believed was a racially motivated attack on the same day as the incident on the 67 bus, and in the same neighborhood.

The Campaign Against Anti-Semitism has reported that an average of 3 hate crimes are directed at Jews every single day in England and Wales, and Jews are more likely to fall victim to hate crimes than any other religious group.

These incidents occurred a few days after the recent stabbing of a Rabbi on a London street in broad day light.
