On Monday, in a special event marking Jewish American Heritage Month, former Soviet “refusenik” and human rights icon Natan Sharansky and Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Nations Sergiy Kyslytsya engaged in a dialogue titled “Ukraine at War: Fighting for Freedom.”

The event — held in New York City and broadcast worldwide online — was co-sponsored by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH), Center for Jewish History (CJH), and National Coalition Supporting Eurasian Jewry (NCSEJ).

The conversation with Sharansky — a CAM Advisory Board member — and Ambassador Kyslytsya was moderated by journalist Avital Chizhik-Goldschmidt, and NCSEJ Executive Vice Chairman and CEO Mark B. Levin also participated.
