THIS WEEK'S GLOBAL ANTISEMITISM REPORT
This week, we continued to monitor antisemitism around the world while advocating for more actions to be made.
Far-Left Incidents Jump Nearly 20% as DSA Makes Gains in New York
The Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM documented 93 far-left incidents this week, a 19.2% weekly increase.
The rise came as Democratic Socialists of America (DS)-backed candidates, including prominent anti-Israel activists, made gains in Democratic primaries across the New York City metro area.
Other incidents monitored by the ARC this week included:
- Canada: A Jewish passerby and a police officer were killed when a gunman, whose manifesto included anti-Zionist rhetoric, opened fire on a busy Montreal street.
- United States: A Brooklyn cafe refunded a coffee purchase of Jewish U.S. Congressman Dan Goldman, calling him a “genocide enabler.”
- United States: In a speech, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani called AIPAC supporters “monsters.”
