GLOBAL ANTISEMITISM REPORT
THIS WEEK'S GLOBAL ANTISEMITISM REPORT
This week, we continued to monitor antisemitism around the world while advocating for more actions to be made.
This week’s horrific terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado marks the second major antisemitic terror attack on U.S. soil in under two weeks. In both Boulder and Washington, the attackers screamed “Free Palestine” while committing violence against Jews. These are not isolated incidents—they are part of a rapidly escalating crisis. The chant of “Free Palestine” is not a call for human rights or liberation; it has become a rallying cry to kill Jews under the guise of political activism.
The Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM recorded several additional incidents of antisemitic violence and vandalism this week, including:
- New York City: A 72-year-old Jewish man was assaulted while hanging posters of Israeli hostages still being held in Gaza.
- France: Five Jewish-linked sites in Paris — including a national Holocaust memorial, three synagogues, and an Israeli restaurant — were defaced with green paint in the early hours of Saturday morning.
- Russia: A man wielding a hammer attempted to forcefully enter a synagogue in Sochi while children were inside the building.
7.6% of the incidents recorded this week involved physical violence or threats – a significant increase from 1.5% last week.
