THIS WEEK'S GLOBAL ANTISEMITISM REPORT

This week, we continued to monitor antisemitism around the world while advocating for more actions to be made.

The Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM recorded 35 incidents in the U.S. this week, 24.8% – nearly one in four – of the global total.
  • Of the ten U.S. incidents that involved violence, threats, or vandalism, 6 (60%) involved physical violence or threats, and 4 (40%) involved vandalism.
  • In the U.S. this week, 12 incidents were Islamist-inspired, 11 incidents were linked to far-left ideology, 10 had far-right motivations.
Global Antisemitism Trends
Of the 141 incidents the ARC recorded this week globally:
  • 63 (48.8%) were Islamist-inspired, 47 (36.4%) were linked to far-left ideology, and 19 (14.7%) had far-right motivations, excluding incidents not attributable to a specific category.
  • 100 (70.9%) involved hate speech, 33 (23.4%) involved physical violence or threats, and eight (5.7%) involved vandalism.
Of the 33 incidents involving physical violence or threats, 24 (72.7%) were linked to Islamist-inspired ideology.43 incidents this week (30.5%) were linked to “Nakba Day” demonstrations, where anti-Israel activists annually commemorate the anniversary of the “catastrophe” of the Jewish state’s 1948 founding.
Notable incidents documented worldwide by the ARC this week included:
  • United States: Maureen Galindo, a Democratic congressional candidate in Texas’s 35th district, posted a chilling threat to “turn Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists.”
  • United States: Demonstrators in New York City flew a flag adorned with the image of assassinated Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida.
  • United Kingdom: An Islamist man in London threatened to “behead the dirty Jews one by one.”
  • Ireland: A Dublin city councilor shared a video urging a “real final solution” against “satanic” Jews.
