GLOBAL ANTISEMITISM REPORT

THIS WEEK'S GLOBAL ANTISEMITISM REPORT

This week, we continued to monitor antisemitism around the world while advocating for more actions to be made.

Left-Wing and Islamist-Inspired Incidents Reach Parity

Of the 139 incidents attributable to a specific ideology recorded globally by CAM’s Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) this week:

  • 62 (44.6%) were far-left, 61 (43.9%) were Islamist-inspired, and 16 (11.5%) were far-right.
  • 23.1% – nearly one in four – of all incidents recorded this week involved certain prominent phrases and symbols inciting violence against Israelis and Jews.

Rome Pride Parade Bans Two Jewish Groups

After organizers of the upcoming Rome Pride Parade banned two Jewish groups for failing to “distance” themselves from the “ongoing genocide in Gaza,” CAM Executive Director of European Affairs Shannon Seban stressed that the shameful decision “transforms an event meant to celebrate inclusion and diversity into a platform for political exclusion and hostility toward Jews.”

Seban further urged the event organizers to “immediately reverse this discriminatory decision and uphold the values of inclusion they claim to represent.”

Other incidents the ARC recorded this week include:

-Morocco: Demonstrators in Tetouan were photographed dressed as Hamas terrorists.

United States: An assailant accosted a Jewish man on the New York City subway, shouting, “Got something to say Jew? Can’t spare a dollar? This is all the k*ke Jews.”
