THIS WEEK'S GLOBAL ANTISEMITISM REPORT
This week, we continued to monitor antisemitism around the world while advocating for more actions to be made.
Violence, Discrimination, Hate Speech, Support for Terrorism: ARC Documents Sickening Antisemitism Worldwide
The Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM documented several particularly heinous incidents this week:
- Pennsylvania: Patrons at a Philadelphia bar displayed a sign reading, “F*ck the Jews.” A Temple University student involved in the incident defended the slur, arguing it “reminds people of the acts of injustice israel [sic] is perpetrating around the world.”
- Washington: Students United for Palestinian Equality and Return (SUPER) at University of Washington occupied an on-campus building, ignited fires in nearby dumpsters, and described Hamas’ October 7 massacre a “heroic victory” in a manifesto justifying their actions.
- New York: More than 100 masked anti-Israel demonstrators stormed Butler Library on Columbia University’s campus on Wednesday, shouting “globalize the intifada.”
- France: Police arrested a suspect in Anduze who physically and verbally assaulted a Jewish man, calling him a “dirty Jew.”
- Italy: An employee of a Naples restaurant kicked out an Israeli family, declaring that “Zionists are not welcome here.”
