The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) celebrated more than three years of achievements and looked to the future this week at its first-ever in-person Advisory Board meeting in Israel.

The distinguished gathering — hosted by new CAM Board Chair Natan Sharansky –featured in-depth briefings from experts on antisemitism-related issues and strategic discussions on challenges and solutions in the collective effort against Jew-hatred.

The agenda was highlighted by a visit with His Excellency Isaac Herzog, President of the State of Israel, at his official residence in Jerusalem.

In an engaging discussion, the CAM delegation updated President Herzog, a former Advisory Board member himself, on the organization’s latest initiatives and listened to constructive feedback.

“We need collaborations to combat antisemitism, and I commend the work CAM does and hope it goes from strength to strength,” President Herzog said. “It is a just cause and saves lives.”

CAM Founder Adam Beren also presented President Herzog with a special certificate recognizing his dedicated leadership in the global fight against antisemitism and his vocal advocacy on behalf of Jewish communities worldwide during his decades of public service.

In just a short time, CAM has succeeded in building a global coalition engaging more than 600 partner organizations and nearly two million people from a diverse array of religious, political, and cultural backgrounds in the common mission of fighting antisemitism with innovative approaches.

We are so proud of what the CAM coalition has already accomplished, but there is so much more left to do, and we look forward to collaborating further with you, as we progress toward the ultimate goal of defeating the world’s oldest hatred!
