The latest episode of Christopher Lochhead’s “Follow Your Different” podcast features a conversation with Izhar and Ophir Shay, whose son and brother Yaron was an IDF combat soldier who fell in battle with Hamas terrorists on October 7th.
Izhar is a high-tech entrepreneur and venture capitalist who served as Israel’s minister of science and technology from 2020 to 2021. Ophir is also an entrepreneur, and they decided to honor Yaron’s memory by establishing the non-profit initiative “Next October” — the mission of which is to create and build a successful Israeli startup enterprise for all who were killed on October 7th.
