Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) CEO Sacha Roytman issued the following comment on the news that that the United Nations had revised downward, by more than half, its estimate of the number of Palestinian women and children killed in the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip that was triggered by the October 7th Hamas attack against Israel:
“The discrepancies in the UN’s Gaza fatality figures are just another drop in the vast torrent of anti-Israel lies that have been unquestioningly accepted as ‘common wisdom’ by the international community since October 7th. However, the irrefutable truth is that the IDF has conducted a military campaign with the lowest civilian-to-combatant casualty rate in known history, all while fighting a barbaric terrorist enemy in Hamas that cynically and systematically uses the people of Gaza as a human shield.”
