The Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM tracked a total of 565 reports of antisemitic incidents globally in July, marking a daily average of 18.2 — up 289% from the same month last year, a continued consequence of the surge of antisemitism that has swept across the globe in the ten months following the October 7th attack in Israel.
CAM’s Monthly Antisemitism Report classifies incidents of Jew-hatred (including physical assault, verbal harassment, vandalism, and hate speech) into the following categories: Holocaust Denial, Minimization, and Distortion; Classical; Israel-related; Islamist; and Unattributable.
Of July’s incidents, 61.1% (345) were Israel-related, while 18.9% (107) were classical and 3.9% (22) were Holocaust Denial, Minimization, and Distortion. The remainder fell into the the Islamist and Unattributable categories — at 13.3% (75) and 2.8% (16) respectively.
79 incidents of antisemitic vandalism, as well as 38 physical threats against Jews, including calls for violence at a demonstration outside a synagogue in New York City, were monitored during the month of July.

There were four new adoptions of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism in July, by the U.S. state of North Carolina; city of Mercer Island, Washington; municipality of Woollahra, Australia; and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (Be’er Sheva, Israel).
