CAM Slams Brazilian President Lula’s Comparison of Israel to Nazis as ‘Morally Repugnant’
AM slammed Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s comments at an African Union summit in which he accused Israel of perpetrating a “genocide” against Palestinian civilians in Gaza, likening the Jewish state’s war against Hamas to the Nazi Holocaust.
“The Brazilian president’s outrageous blood libel is morally repugnant, and we call for an immediately apology and retraction,” said CAM Sacha Roytman. “These comments are merely meant to offend the Jewish people on the one hand while trying to demonstrate his socialist credentials for purely domestic purposes on the other. President Lula should stop using Jewish tragedies to score political points.”

April
The United States has experienced a disturbing proliferation of antisemitic incidents in recent weeks as anti-Israel demonstrations have swept across colleges and universities nationwide. Jewish students and faculty have faced assaults, harassment, vilification, intimidation, and isolation, and protest encampments have featured the glorification of violence and calls to “remove Zionists” from campuses. In April 2024 alone, the Antisemitism Research Center by CAM recorded 183 incidents of on-campus antisemitism, marking an 815% increase from April 2023.
“We urgently call on Columbia’s leaders to take decisive steps against this surge of antisemitism and to implement robust policies that ensure the campus remains a safe environment for learning.”

You have to be a special kind of twisted to stand outside Auschwitz concentration camp and hold a sign that accuses Israel of committing genocide.

Arsonists extensively damaged a Melbourne synagogue on Friday, Dec. 6, in what Australia’s prime minister condemned as an antisemitic attack. Victoria Police Detective Inspector Chris Murray said a witness who had come to Adass Israel Synagogue to pray saw two masked people spreading an accelerant inside the building at 4:10 a.m. The synagogue was “engulfed in flames,” Murray added. “We believe it was deliberate.
