World Responds to Amnesty International’s Antisemitic Report Singling Out State of Israel

In each generation, antisemitism manifests itself in new forms to fit the societal norms of the time. The Jewish people have been hated for their religion, then their race, and now their nation-state, as the late Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks once famously stated.

Amnesty International’s report declaring Israel an “apartheid” state perverts history, holds the Jewish state to double standards not applied to any other nation in the world, ignores the crimes of Palestinian terrorist organizations against Israeli civilians, and portrays Israel’s mere existence as the sole obstacle to Middle East peace.

During a difficult week that underscored how Jew-hatred is alive and well on the international stage, the Combat Antisemitism Movement’s coalition partners, other major organizations, media outlets, and leading politicians jumped into action to reject the slanderous Amnesty International report and counter the false anti-Israel narratives driving global discourse.

AIPAC — “This libelous report weaves a malicious web of lies and distortions with the contemptible objective to delegitimize Israel as a Jewish state. Truth matters. Americans must reject this biased report.”

Read here.

European Jewish Association (EJA) The European Jewish Association (EJA) expresses its disgust that Amnesty International has published such an openly deceptive “report.” This leaked report is naked in its anti-Zionism but attempting to wear the emperors clothing of respectability.

In the Media

Wall Street Journal Editorial Board– The Amnesty report is especially ill-timed in an era when Israel and Arab states are negotiating new deals for commerce and travel since the Abraham Accords.
