Alexander Polson

Alex Polson is a corporate adviser and political strategist with experience across government, business, and international campaigns. He is the director of DBK Advisory, a policy and consulting agency focused on strategic communications, advocacy, and international engagement.

Alex began his career as a senior adviser in the Australian Government, serving in both the Abbott and Turnbull administrations. Over more than a decade in public service, he worked across higher education, environmental policy, economic reform, and community building. He later joined the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, leading government, regulator, and industry engagement and reform efforts during the Financial Services Royal Commission, before transitioning into the startup sector as a director of a technology firm focused on environmental and Indigenous affairs.

He now works across the Middle East and Asia on political communications, civic engagement, and business development, and continues to advise philanthropic and civil society organizations on interfaith dialogue and countering hate. Alex lives in Sydney, Australia.
