Born in 1953 in Sydney to Jewish refugees who fled Europe before the war, Roth has lived in Australia his whole life. Married to Charmaine, Roth has three children and seven grandchildren, with another on the way.
Roth has held two career positions — as a lawyer at a leading national firm from 1977 to 1992, and since 1993, expanding his late father’s property investment portfolio with his brother.
A passionate supporter of Israel and Keren Hayesod, Roth began fundraising in 1979, became chairman of the NSW campaign in the late 1990s, and the Australian campaign in the early 2000s. Roth continues to support KH-UIA and various other Israel and local Jewish organizations.
