Tanya Tsikanovsky (United States)

Tanya Tsikanovsky is a first-generation American whose parents immigrated from the former Soviet Union with the support of the Jewish Federation. She is a proud Jew, unapologetic Zionist, and outspoken advocate dedicated to strengthening Jewish identity, supporting Israel, and combating antisemitism. Tanya is also an openly gay woman and lifelong activist for LGBT equality.

A Los Angeles native, Tanya studied and lived in Israel, where she earned her master’s degree in Organizational Behavior Management through a special international program with Masa and NYU Tandon School of Engineering in Rishon LeZion. She later led Birthright trips and served as a Hillel director, deepening her commitment to Jewish education and advocacy.

Since October 7, Tanya has devoted her work full-time to confronting antisemitism through media and public advocacy. A content creator who has amassed millions of views, her commentary has appeared on Fox 11 Los Angeles, Newsmax, and Jewish Journal, among other outlets. In recognition of her leadership and impact, she was selected as a “40 Under 40” honoree by Beverly Hills Living Magazine in 2025.

Tanya is the founder of HighlyJewish and recently launched a podcast in partnership with Joice Global, focused on antisemitism, politics, and Jewish life.
