Yigal Nisell is a seasoned nonprofit executive and Jewish communal leader with extensive experience across education, advocacy, and cross-community engagement. Having served as Chief Executive Officer of Mosaic United, Yigal brings a strong track record of building large-scale initiatives that connect Jews around the world with their heritage, values, and the global Jewish community.
Prior, Yigal held senior leadership positions at CAM, most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of Partnerships. In this capacity, he led major international efforts to confront antisemitism through civic engagement, strategic partnerships, and global coalition-building. His work significantly expanded CAM’s reach and strengthened collaboration with government officials, mayors, faith leaders, and civil society organizations worldwide.
Yigal previously spent seven years in Australia as the Jewish National Fund (JNF) Australia’s Education Shaliach, where he designed and led impactful educational programs that deepened the connection between Israel and the Australian Jewish community. He played a central role in creating immersive educational experiences for educators and students, many of whom traveled to Israel under his guidance.
