Pink Floyd Co-Founder Roger Waters Makes Promotes Anti-Semitic Conspiracies on Hamas TV

Pink Floyd Co-Founder, Roger Waters, made multiple anti-Semitic claims in an interview with the Hamas terror group-affiliated Shehab News Agency, the Times of Israel reported. The musician and outspoken supporter of the BDS Movement, told the Palestinian news station that Jewish Billionaire Sheldon Adelson is a Jewish “puppet master” pulling Trump and Pompeo’s strings. He also claimed Adelson only sees Jewish people as “completely human,” and made allegations that Israel is responsible for US police brutality.

In an astoundingly anti-Semitic and unhinged interview with the Shehab News Agency in Gaza, Roger Waters said that US Jewish billionaire Sheldon Adelson is pulling the strings of the Trump administration, and claimed that Israel is training US police forces how to kill black people using the technique of kneeling on the necks of their victims. Both claims are preposterous and traffic in age-old anti-Semitic conspiracies, attributing all the world’s ills to the Jewish people, and depicting Jews as being “puppet masters” in a plan for Jewish world control.

Waters further asserted that Adelson believes only Jews are “completely human” and referred to US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman as “Greenberg.”

“Sheldon Adelson is the puppet master who is pulling the strings of Donald Trump, [Secretary of State] Mike Pompeo, and what’s his name…the ambassador, Greenberg, I think his name is,” Waters said, and went on to describe Adelson as a “right-wing fascist racist bigot.”

Waters said Adelson, a major donor to the Republican party, “believes that only Jews, only Jewish people, are completely human…and everybody else on Earth is there to serve them.”

Waters could not remember the name of US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman. When referring to the ambassador, he said “what’s his name…the ambassador, Greenberg, I think his name is,” using a stereotypical Jewish name as a place holder before referring to Friedman and Adelson as racist bigots.

Waters’ also weighed in on the anti-Racism protests taking place in the United States and claimed that Israel bears responsibility for US police brutality, later asserting that “Zionism is an ugly stain, and it needs to be gently removed by us.” According to the widely used International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism, Water’s denial of the Jewish people’s right to self determination is anti-Semitic.
