Prominent Actor James Wood Urges Congress to Pass Anti-BDS Resolution
Prominent American Actor, James Wood, took to Twitter to urge Congress to pass a resolution against the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, the Jerusalem Post reported.
Wood responded to a tweet that announced Austria’s parliament had just unanimously adopted a resolution condemning and opposing BDS activities against Israel by saying “This is the kind of resolution I would hope we would see in our American Congress.”

The US House of Representatives passed a resolution against BDS in 2019, but it did not explicitly link the BDS Movement to anti-Semitism, in the same way that the language of Austria’s recent resolution did. The US resolution was passed 398-17 and was infamously opposed by BDS backers Rashida Talib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
