Vandals spray-painted antisemitic and anti-Zionist graffiti on Jewish school buses in the Williamsburg neighborhood of New York City on Monday.
Photos posted online also show “USA first” and “Free Palestine.”
Local outlet Williamsburg 365 reported that the vehicles belonged to Tiferes Yisroel and to the Satmar and Klausenburg Hasidic sects.
The 90th Precinct of the New York City Police Department (NYPD), its Hate Crime Task Force, and Williamsburg Shomrim were searching for the perpetrators.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul posted on X, “As a mother and grandmother, it sickens me to think of children arriving at school to find their buses defaced with swastikas and hateful antisemitic messages.”
