Demand UN Secretary-General Cancel Durban IV Antisemitic Hate Fest

Status: Ended

Next week, on Wednesday, September 22nd, the United Nations will convene a high-level meeting in New York known as Durban IV, marking the 20th anniversary of the infamous “World Conference on Racism.”

The 2001 gathering in Durban, South Africa, turned into an unprecedented antisemitic hate fest. The conference — at which the “Zionism is racism” lie was rehabilitated and crude anti-Jewish bigotry and Holocaust denial was displayed openly — marked an unfortunate turning point in the mainstreaming of the delegitimization of Israel under the guise of human rights advocacy.

A total of 16 countries — including Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the UK and the U.S. — have already announced they will not take part in Durban IV.

As a moral issue uniting Jews and Christians, the Genesis 123 Foundation has launched a letter-writing campaign to UN Secretary-General António Guterres asking him to cancel Durban IV altogether.
