Call on Zoom to Ban Leila Khaled and #EndJewHatred on Platform

Status: End

On SEPTEMBER 23rd, Zoom Video Corporation will be providing a platform for Leila Khaled, an anti-Semite and terrorist, to teach at San Francisco State University (SFSU).

Khaled is a leader of the PFLP, a designated terrorist organization, and participated in the 1969 hijacking of TWA flight 840. She is banned from entering the USA because of her extremism, yet Zoom is providing her a podium to spread her vitriol to young college students.

Zoom must show that it is against anti-Semitism and must stop promoting racism and ethnic cleansing, by banning Leila Khaled and not giving at platform to SFSU for hosting this event. You can take action to promote the fight for freedom, justice and liberation by preventing Khaled and SFSU from targeting Jewish and Zionist students on campus with their vicious and violent anti-Semitism.

  1. Show up and mobilize to protest with over one hundred other activists at 4:30 PM on September 22 at Zoom Headquarters, 55 Almaden Blvd, in San Jose, California
  2. Support the Zoom Blackout by refusing to use Zoom on September 23. After that day, start using #EndJewHatred in your Zoom screen name to show that you stand behind the movement. Take a screenshot of your screen name with the hashtag and post it to your social media!

If the Jewish community unites to Blackout Zoom, it will tell the world that Jew-hatred has consequences. Just as we worked together to get a group with close ties to the PFLP barred from PayPal, we must now work to get the PFLP banned from Zoom!
