The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) is a global coalition engaging more than 850 organizations from a diverse array of religious, political, and cultural backgrounds in the common mission of fighting antisemitism.
This role of the European Affairs Partnership Coordinator is designed to provide support to the Director of European Affairs by focusing on building and maintaining partnerships, coordinating initiatives, and supporting various organizational tasks to effectively combat antisemitism across Europe.
Key Functions —
European Partnership:
- Manage the CAM European Network of partner organizations: map them by location, topics and goals, meet the key staff people and maintain an on going relationship.
- Expand CAM partners network in Europe: map potential partners based on the engagement strategy of the EU Department, build a strategic introduction process to the grow the network.
- Partnership engagement: build a working plan and execute it to engage partners within programs and activities
European Advocacy Efforts:
- Manage the CAM European Network of political stakeholder contacts: map them by location, topics and goals, meet the key staff people and maintain an ongoing relationship.
- Expand the CAM political stakeholder network in Europe: map potential partners based on the engagement strategy of the European Department, build a strategic introduction process to the grow the network.
- Stakeholder engagement: build a working plan and execute it within programs and activities.
Research and Policy Analysis Efforts:
- Assist the Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) in tracking European incidents of antisemitism.
- Contribute to the development of policy and research papers addressing European issues to fight antisemitism.
Qualifications:
- The position is open to graduates with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in the fields of international relations, politics, business, diplomacy, law, liberal arts, communications, or closely related subjects.
- Strong commitment to human rights, international issues, and an understanding of antisemitism.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Additional language skills (particularly French) are highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, along with independent and creative thinking.
- At least 3 years of experience working in the Jewish advocacy landscape, or a related field in Europe.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Comfortable working in a remote setting with colleagues across continents and time zones.
